Hi, I’m Giovanna Camila

I grew up around cameras and naturally gravitated toward capturing moments, planning, and anything creative, from design to décor. Creating has always been part of who I am. What started as documenting everyday life quickly turned into a deeper passion.

In 2019, I began my journey as a content creator in the hospitality industry, working with restaurants and PR companies throughout Atlanta and Miami. By 2022, I pivoted into lifestyle photography, which naturally evolved into branding photography and editorial portraits. In 2023, I co-founded Vintage Vida Rentals, a boutique event rental company, which brought me back to content creation and deepened my love for small businesses and curated, styled experiences.

By late 2024, the vision for The Comparona Edit came to life...an all-in-one creative branding studio for entrepreneurs, inspired by my experience of hosting events, working with entreprenuers, and love for creating content. The name comes from “Comparona,” a Dominican slang I was often called as a child. A Comparona is bold, confident, and unapologetically her; which felt perfectly aligned with the brand.

Today, The Comparona Edit supports service providers, creator, influencers, and brands through brand photography, content creation, social media strategy, creative direction, and brand activations, helping them show up confidently, cohesively, and with intention online and in real life.
